Big Apple Round Robin Results

The 2017 Big Apple Round Robin hosted by Bronx Science was this afternoon at the WeWork Offices of the Manhattan Financial District.

In the Lincoln-Douglas division, the six entries debated a true round robin: American Heritage AD Hunter MS Lake Highland Prep AA Lexington RW Newark Science BA Stuyvesant KL

Reed Weiller from Lexington was declared the winner of the round robin with a 9-1 ballot count.

In the Public Forum division, the eight entries were split into two pods: Cortland Apple Pod Fairmont Prep SP Hunter KK Nueva SP Strath Haven LS

Gala Apple Pod Millburn CZ Mission San Jose KM University School CM Stuyvesant JR

Russell Legate-Yang & Jack Swartzentruber from Strath Haven defeated Devesh Kodnani & Ishan Maunder from Mission San Jose on a 4-1 decision in finals (Millman, Albert, Allston, Kaczmarek, Sweet*).
